Hi, we need deploy an outbound solution based on teleflow . <br> <br>We like to know if Teleflow is capable of detect if an outgoing phone call was answered by human, a voice machine, fax machine and/or detect a busy tone, non existent tone, etc? <br> <br>Thanks |

Yes and no. <br> <br>TeleFlow (automated systems in general) cannot differentiate between an answering machine and a human. However, it can provide you with a measurement of the initial voice length of the answering party. A typical person answers with "Hello", while a machine is more likely to say, "Hello, you've reached etc". If you determine anything over 2 (you may need to tweak this number) seconds to be a machine, you can "simulate" answering machine detection (which is what you get with any answering machine detection). This feature is currently only available on the NMS hardware platform. <br> <br>TeleFlow can differentiate on other things as well, such as fax, busy signal, SIT, and wait X rings before giving up. |
