I develop an application to place calls and it's working but when it <br>place a call there's a delay to play a message (about 8 sec). <br>I have a place call step configured with Rings before TIMEOUT = 6, <br>and Silence TIMEOUT = 0. Silence time out was 1000 and I try changing <br>it firs ti 400 and then to 0 but its the same. <br> <br>Do you know what can I do to play the message as soon as the call is <br>answered?

What type of hardware are you using? When you answer the phone, do you just pick up, or do you say "hello"? If this is an analog system, and you pick up the phone without saying anything, it won't necessarily recognize that you have answered. (Analog uses voice detection to determine that you have answered.)

Im using a 4 analog ports Dialogic card. <br>The tests I have done just pick up the phone. So I'll try saying hello. <br>Thanks
