Can I get Teleflow to make an outbound call by using a port to port connection, i.e. port 1 on system 1 connected to port 1 on system 2 via a crossover cable both configured as ISDN PRI. Please bear with me as I explain. <br> <br>We have a system installed with Teleflow and a AG4000_2E1 board. This system is used mainly for IVR information line. Although there are 2 ports, only 1 E1 port will be used. The telco has disabled outbound calls on this line. <br> <br>We have another installation that's also equipped with a AG4000_2E1 card. Also using only 1 E1 port. This system does outbound calls and handles some office PABX functions. <br> <br>What we want to do is to enable system 1 to make outbound calls. Hence we thought of connecting both systems with a crossover cable using the free E1 ports, configuring both to use the ISDN protocol. <br> <br>The question is, can Teleflow perform call transfer functions with this setup? If yes, please advice on how this could be accomplished. <br> <br>I know it's easier if we could just plug the outbound enabled line into the Teleflow machine but that's not possible at the moment. System 2 is a production system and is not using TF server. <br> <br>Thanks in advance for your help.

It is possible to use a cross-over connection to connect two AG 4000 boards together, place calls from one board and have them answered on the other. <br> <br>Here are some things to consider. Firstly, the two trunks you are connecting in this way must be running the same variant of ISDN PRI. One of the trunks must be configured as the "Network Terminator side", and the other as the "Terminal Equipment side", ie: one AG4000 acts as the telco, while the other acts as a customer. <br> <br>You can use the TeleFlow Place Call step to send a call out on the cross-over. The call will be offered on the same channel on the opposite end of the cross-over cable.
