What needs to be done in what sequence for a total shutdown of our application. The goal would be to power off the computer which has a Dialogic D4PCI card without risking damage to the application, data files, TFServer, etc.
Thanks again...

Your best bet is to:

1) Using TeleFlow Monitor, click Application >> Shutdown All Normal.

2) Since TeleFlow running with Dialogic won't really do a "normal" shutdown, you need only verify then that your application is "idle" in the TeleFlow Monitor, which means that it is sitting at Wait for Call on all ports (assuming you have an inbound application on every port, that is).

3) At that point, you can just use a normal OS shutdown. (Start >> Shut Down >> Choose option to shut down, click ok)

Because you are running TeleFlow Server and Dialogic as services, both will safely be shut down with Windows.

Is it possible to do this without having to manually do it? Like, have a menu item which will shut everything down and then "RUN Shutdown" to shut down the WINXP OS...

It MAY be possible to create some form of "System Shutdown" that is run through TeleFlow, this doesn't exist now, and is not presently in the product development plan. Typically, a production TeleFlow system doesn't get shut down very much (it shouldn't, as once it is in production, shutting it down should only be done if absolutely necessary, since doing so interrupts service) once it is live, so it shouldn't be much of a hassle.

Running a system shutdown will orderly close all programs including TeleFlow. If all other programs are written correctly, they will properly flush the data to the disk before closing.
