Hello,

We are working to support VOIP in our product, which is developed in TeleFlow. We got few questions, but the most important one is does TeleFlow, as of its latest version 2006, support VOIP services with the NMS CG 6060 card?

Thanks,

-Hung

Yes. TeleFlow Enterprise supports VOIP services on the NMS CG 6060 card, for in-bound calls only. The support is there for the 2006 version, and we will soon be releasing our 2007 version of TeleFlow.

Out-bound calling is currently in the beta testing phase. It can be made available to you if you wish. The outbound calling feature itself is very stable. The issues delaying an official release concern TeleFlow support for switching ports together "trombone-style". This is a highly requested feature by application developers who want out-bound dialing, and so the decision was made to delay an official release until such time as the switching features were finalized. Out-bound IVR, without switching, should work just fine, even in the beta release.

Great! We currently need only inbound calls, so the 2006 version should be enough for us.

We got few next questions:

- Is TeleFlow Enterprise 2006 the one currently available for downloading from enGenic web site (installation file name calls tfhype2006.exe)?

- What Protocol do we need to specify in TeleFlow Application LineList? (we're setting it to isd0 for ISDN and wnk0 for CAS. Now with VOIP, what do we need to set it to?)

- Would you please provide us with a typical configuration file (keyword file) for the CG 6060 card we are using?

I guess our overal question is how to set up a TeleFlow App to work with VOIP on NMS CG 6060. Is it similar to setting up the system to work T1 ISDN that we are using, or what additional steps we need to do? If you have documents in any kind that outlines steps we need to do, that would help us a lot.

Thank you,

-Hung

TeleFlow Enterprise is available through our sales channels.

With VoIP you need to set the protocol in the TAL to "sip0", but there is a lot more to configuring a VoIP installation, most of which has little to do with TeleFlow. TeleFlow is designed in such a way that it typically does not care what the underlying technology is. Your application should run the same on NMS VoIP as it does on NMS CAS or NMS ISDN.

You need to contact sales@engenic.com to get this ball rolling.
