The decision has been made to rename an application prior to release. What are the steps required to do so?

Also, once the application is released, we would like to make copies of it under different application names. What would be the process to do so?

Thanks for the support...

I guess that depends a little on the application.

The application name itself is really just in the filename. If you ensure TeleFlow Designer isn't running, you can simply rename your .TAP file to something else, as long as you keep the TAP extension.

If you already have a .TAL file defined for running your application in TFServer, you would have to update it to reflect the new filename. If you are concerned about how the applications appear in the TeleFlow Monitor, and they are named per the "old" name, you would again have to update the .TAL.

You might need to re-record audio, if the system greets callers by its name.

I can't really see any other ways in which a rename affects your application.
