I have a TAP that is called by a master TAP, when control is transferred I get the above message, during TAP initialisation, it works it's way through several TAMs then fails on one specific one. It's the same one every time. I've previously had this application working under 2003 but needed to change this routine. I'm now running 2004 (downloaded Oct 31). All comparison logic seems ok.

Well I can't see the error. If you are seeing the application get to one tam, it is most likely an error with that or the next. Were the tams transfered over? Were they copied off a cd and need to have their attributes set off read only? Please put the error up and check these items.

My mistake, I had deleted some steps from the TAM, then moved the rest of the steps up. In doing so I overlaid a COMPARE step (which was not connected to anything) exactly with another compare step. The list of steps did not show this extra compare, I only notice the connect symbol by chance, once I move the top compare step and deleted the unconnect one everything worked ok.
