We have a LD409.

When the customer tries the service in his Panasonic handset with Speakerphone,
the level of the prompt being played falls and rises and generally seems to sound like
very bad recording.

Without the speakerphone, the quality of the prompts is very good and there is no distortion.

What need to be twicked in order to reduce this sensitivity.

Please advise.

Your options are to put your speakerphone on mute(so that it doesn't pick up any noise, but you can still hear the system), or use the handset. The speakerphone is cutting in and out because of noise that is occurring near to it. All speakerphones will do this because they are trying to reduce feedback. (if there is a way to reduce the sensitivity of this, you would need to check the manual for the handset)

Thank you for your answer. However the only issue here is that, similair IVR services here do not behave this way (with the same handset+speakerphone) and that has become an issue to our customer. I am sure we can do something at the card end. Does AGC or AVC have anything to do with it. I do not have this issue with Brooktrout card.

We tried paying TeleFlow's own recordings followed by one of our recordings. TF's own behaved well but our recording did not.

It is due to the quality and the procedure of our recordings. We have redone the recordings with TF's own Voice Recorder and issue has been resolved.

Thank you!

We assumed that the quality of Recording was an issue. However it was not.

It must have something to do with AiLogix's internals and there must be something to reduce the listen sensitivity of it so that the sound does not loop back on the speakerphone.

There is no problem when using the handset or using speakerphone without MIC, however other systems (TeleBank) system does not demonstrate such behaviour and I think they are Dialogic.

Please advise.

According to Ai-Logix, playback is not affected by speakerphone, or any line input.

Again, I would encourage you to see if there is any way to reduce the sensitivity of the speakerphone, or keep it on mute (turn off the MIC) when using it.
