Upgrading a Teleflow 2003 install to 2004 (development system), and following the instructions given in the "Installation" forum, came up against this problem: <br> <br>1. Install goes fine <br>2. tfserver.exe runs AOK as an application -- I would like to migrate to using it as a service <br> <br>When I try starting it as a service I get the following error: <br> <br><i>Could not start the Teleflow Server service on Local Computer. <br> <br>Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion</i> <br> <br> <br>Looking at at tfserver service in service manager there are no dependencies listed -- any help would be appreciated. |

When changing the hardware type in TeleFlow Config (tfconfig.exe), you must reboot the computer in order for the changes to take effect. Stopping and re-starting any of the services involved is not sufficient. A reboot should take care of the problem. If not, check the NMS CTDaemon service in the Windows Service Control Manager. Make sure it's Startup Type is set to "automatic" and it's status is started. |
