hey frenz, <br>can someone tell me that the way to <br>check whether the NMS card is working <br>or not? <br>thanks. |

Once you have the cards installed, run PCISCAN to determine the bus and slot numbers. Update your OAM configuration files, and use OAMSYS to boot the cards. Then run CTATEST and see if it runs successfully. You don't need to do anything with CTATEST, just make sure it starts then exit the program. I believe the command is 'q' for quit. <br> <br>If all the above succeeds, the best way to determine if your card is working is to run TFServer unlicensed. You can use the default .TAL file shipped with TeleFlow. It runs an application called "Answer Test" on the first 4 ports in your system. When unlicensed, TeleFlow will play an advertisement at the beginning of each call. If the advertisement plays, your card is working fine. |
