TF Server Service Unexpectedly restarting ...

I have a Teleflow application that works reliably at many customer sites on NMS AG-4000 hardware. At one customer site we are having problems with the Teleflow service unexpectedly restarting. The machine is running Win2K, NMS 2005-1 SP1 drivers with a single span T1 (12 Teleflow ports) and Teleflow 2005 (with patch applied). The problem is around a "record" step (the max. recording length is set to 180secs). When you say the "Teleflow service unexpectedly restarting" do you mean that the application stops and restarts or do you mean that the process, TFServer.exe, terminates and is restarted by the Windows Service Control Manager? I think I know what you mean, but this is an important distinction because the remedy will be entirely different. By the way, the BUFFER_FULL events are a "red herring" in this instance. They are a normal part of the record process: buffers fill and are flushed to disk. The log output of these events has been supressed in the newer versions of TeleFlow.

In the installation I have Teleflow setup as a service. In the service manager I have set the "Teleflow Service" to automatically restart the service at i. First failure ii. Second failure iii. Subsequent failures This is what I mean by "automatically restart"

When the error last occurred, did you have TeleFlow set to log all events on all lines, and if so, do you have the complete set of logs from that time, and can you provide the date/time when TFServer stopped unexpectedly from event viewer?
