I am trying the CT MEssenger examples, but am not getting anywhere as it seems no answer is ever detected, whether or not I use Software Answer Detection.
The number is successfully dialled and the phone rings, but there is silence then it hangs up.
Running the Report example, the report has a status of InProgress, then the call hangs up and the status changes to Completed. The SubReport shows a status of InternalError, and the Call item shows a duration of usually 6-8secs, and Answer=Unknown.
I am using a Zoom 3049 Serial modem. I have also tried this with Avaya IP Office, and get the same results.
Any ideas? I'd much rather not have to purchase a telephony card - am only looking to make the odd call now and then.
