I am 90% certain that you do not have administrative rights to that machine. I will post a full answer momentarily. First, we need the details of your earlier support request as well, for continuity:

-----

The NMS AG 4040 card appears to be functioning properly.

The teleflow services did not install. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling/rebooting many times, but they would not install. I could manually install “TFSysBootTime_Service” but could not manually install “TFServer” service.

I started TFServer manually in console mode.

The teleflow monitor is showing red for all ports.

After sending you the email with the intial problem, I re-imaged the server and re-installed TeleFlow. I intentionally logged in as the local Administrator to elimated that as an issue. The services did not install. I have not tried to install them manually yet.

Does the installer use "InstallCompletor.bat"?
If so, it will not work properly for this reason:
TFDIR=D:\TeleFlow\
HOMEDRIVE=P:
The first line in "InstallCompletor.bat" is "cd %TFDIR%" which will not work since the drive is set to "P:". Need to first set drive to "D:"
Maybe that is the reason the services did not install?

Post subject:  Troubleshooting TeleFlow install

I suspect you may have a user rights issue that is preventing the service from being installed. The TFSysBootTime_Service does very very little, and does not require administrative rights to the machine. In fact, in the version of TeleFlow you have, it is no longer required. I recommend you remove it as follows:

TFSysBootTime_Service REMOVE

Log-in as the local Administrator for that machine, and you should be able to install TeleFlow Server as a service. The command to install TFServer is as follows:

TFServer INSTALL "%TFDIR%"\"TFServer.exe SERVICE"

You should be able to type the command exactly as it appears above. %TFDIR% is an environment variable that should have been set by the TeleFlow installer.

This does not however, answer why the TeleFlow applications are failing (the Monitor showing red on all ports). Within the logs is the following:

[55] Wait for Call
: TIMEOUT is '0'
: WARNING: TIMEOUT '0' evaluates to 0 and is interpreted as no timeout
: Rings is '0'
: Connection Delay is '500'
: Wait for 0 rings and then pickup
: Open port 1, protocol 'wnk0'
: Port requested exceeds number of ports installed in the system
: ERROR: WaitForCall failed to open port

TeleFlow cannot access the channels on the card. This is an indication that the card is not configured properly. In order to help you with that I will need to see the NMS configuration files.

Please email support@engenic.com, with the following files attached:
    C:\nms\oam\cfg\oamsys.cfg
    C:\nms\ag\cfg\*.cfg (zipped)

Let me know the results of the above, and we'll follow up from there.

That's it, all right. TeleFlow pretty much expects to be installed on C:
You should be able to install TeleFlow Server manually if you follow the steps of the InstallCompletor.bat.

You may also want to check the registry values under this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\enGenic\TeleFlow Server

Anything that contains a full path (eg: C:\Program Files\TeleFlow\) should specify the path to where you've installed TeleFlow.

I'm sure I don't have to tell you to be very very careful while your in there ;-)
