We have a machine with "4" NIC cards (actually two sets of 2) on it.
The teleflow license is assocaied with one of the NIC card which is not in use.
Unfortunately the LAN administrator sometimes disables the NIC card not in use, hence making the teleflow app give the enGenic announcement at the start of each call.

To recover from this we normally:
1. re-enable the disabled NIC card
2. re-register Teleflow
3. stop the Teleflow Service
4. Start the Teleflow Service

This does not seem to be working.
Can you please explain a correct process.

We are trying to get the live network connection plugged into the NIC card with the MAC address assocaited with the Teleflow licenses but for a host of reasons this is easier said than done.

Thanks for your help,

..G

With 4 NICs, chances are the re-enabled NIC is not recognized by Windows as the primary one. Unfortunately, TeleFlow only reads the first card in the list. As a future enhancement, I want to make it read all the cards so that this will no longer be an issue for our customers. Until that is ready, you need the quick fix.

Get that machine configured the way it is intended to stay. Then find out which NIC is reported as the primary. You should use TeleFlow Register program, as it will give you the exact address that TFServer will use when it evaluates the license. Send us an email with the old license information, and the new primary MAC address. We will issue a new license to register against the new MAC.

Send the email to "registration@engenic.com".
