First, make sure that ctdaemon is running. The easiest way to do this is to open a command prompt, and enter "net start ctdaemon"

<br>It may very well tell you that ctdaemon is already started. If this is the case, there is a <i>very</i> good chance that you are not logged in as an administrator. In order to run OAMSYS, you must be logged in with administrative access to that computer.

<br>NOTE: This problem has been encountered when using Terminal Services to remotely configure systems. When this has been the case, having someone log into the box directly - with an administrative login - has fixed the problem.
