In order to use TeleFlow switching on an NMS platform, the following settings must be in effect: <br> <br>AG.CFG <br> <br>For every board in the system, the following statement must be present <br> <br>EnableMvip = YES <br> <br> <br>SwitchPath <br> <br>With MVIP enabled, the NMS boards no longer have default connections between the network resources and the DSP’s. In this state, a board will not answer the phone or place calls. In order to create the initial connections, the NMS utility “SWISH” must be run every time the board is started: <br> <br>SWISH {SwitchPath script file} <br> <br>Examples: <br> <br>SWISH qt1cas.swi NMS sample for a single quad-T1 card (AG-4000, AG-QT1) <br>SWISH ag8.swi enGenic sample for a single AG-8 card <br>SWISH ag8_and_t1.swi enGenic sample for an AG-8 and AG-T1 in the same computer <br> <br>Note: You may have to write a specific SwitchPath script file for your NMS installation. <br> <br> <br>TeleFlow Config <br> <br>The Telephony Hardware setting in TFConfig must be "NMS Communications" |

Hi, I have just one e1 nms voice card running ISDN (ag4000). Could I enable switching in the nms board? Which params I have to change in swish file? |

If you are running Natural Access 2001-1 or 2003-1 (and you should be), you no longer need the swish file. <br>Ensure that in your board-level config file, you have the following line: <br> <br> SwitchConnections = Yes <br> <br>Restart your OAMSYS service, and TeleFlow will work just fine, including the the Switch step. |
