I have an AG2000 loop start interface, when I record to a WAV file using the RECORD step, I get a sound spike every 200ms. I've adjusted the number of buffers, and checked the config file. Has anybody else has a similar problem.

The spike confuses speech recognition on a variable basis.

The info below is my oamsys cfg file for the board

#--------------------------------------------------------------
# Originally created from input file gbr\a2lps.cfg.
# Detailed board settings for:
# Product = AG_2000
#--------------------------------------------------------------

# Uncomment the appropriate Trunk Control Protocol(s)

TCPFiles[0] = nocc.tcp # "no trunk control" protocol
TCPFiles[1] = lps0.tcp # Loopstart protocol

# DSP (.m54) files to link in

XLaw = mu-LAW

DLMFiles[0] = gtp.leo
DLMFiles[1] = voice.leo
DLMFiles[2] = svc.leo

NetworkInterface.Analog[0..7].ConfigFile = a2eurlsc.slc

Clocking.HBus.ClockSource = OSC
Clocking.HBus.ClockMode = STANDALONE

DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[0] = adsir.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[1] = callp.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[2] = dtmfe.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[3] = echo_v3.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[4] = mf.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[5] = ptf.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[6] = rvoice_vad.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[7] = signal.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[8] = tone.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[9] = voice.M54
DSP.C5x.[0..3].Files[10] = wave.M54

DynamicRecordBuffers = 10
Buffers[1].Size = 1600
BUffers[1].Num = 96

Further information, due to a customer request, I had to revert the machine running the above application to NA2002-1 (so that I could change a Show N Tell application). In the persuit of danger, I tried the above app. and it works with no problem. The only change I had to make to the oamsys files was to drop the DynamicRecordBuffers entry.

Just following up. Did going back to NMS 2002 fix the problem?

Sure did. But I still get Teleflow 2004 aborting with a Memory protection error.

Likely, the cause of the memory protection errors is TeleFlow build 1031. Recommend you download again. The new build, #1121, fixes certain stability issues.

On the sound spike issue, it seems like there is a bug with NA2003-1 and the Euro version of the AG2000 card (I assume that is what you have). We have not had any such problems with NA2003-1 and AG2000 in North America. I'd love to learn more, if anyone else has encountered this problem.
