I am having some issues playing a .WAV file back after being recorded and saved to disk. When we tested the application in simulation mode it worked fine. Now in real time mode my media players are saying the file in corrupt.

Simulation:
Win XP workstation w/ NO Dialogic D4PCIU card installed. SP2 and all available Windows updates.

Real Time:
Win 2k server w/ Dialogic D4PCIU card installed and running through an analog phone line. SP4 and all available updates.

In the real time environment, the whole application works. I can record, playback through the application, and upload file to a web server. When trying to play back the file from either the web server or the file saved locally, it errors out. Real Player says the file is corrupt. Windows Media Player errors out as well.

My "record" step has been programmed to save the file as each of the WAV formats. Neither working in the real time environment.

Any help?

Is this due to an issue with Dialogic not supporting .WAV playback? Since the work is being done by the application and saving directly to the local machine before uploading you would think is supports it.????

It looks like TFSoundTransformer will work. Can someone please help with setting this up from the Designer?

In TeleFlow, VOX files are (currently) the only supported audio file format for Dialogic. You can use the "Run Program" step in TeleFlow and use TFSoundTransformer to convert files from VOX to WAV and back. To do this, get the latest TFSoundTranformer... just to be sure

http://www.engenic.com/TFSoundTransform.zip

In the zip, you will see some examples of how to run TFSoundTransformer. It would be best to test the transform in a CMD.exe window to make certain it does what you need it to. TFVoicePlayer (also included in TeleFlow can be used to listen to VOX files). You should be able to use some trial and error to create what you need. Once done, take the command and enter it into the Run Program step. Make sure that TFSoundTransformer is in the path or in the same directory as TFServer.exe
