A single phone line will be attached to a 4 port D4PCI card. Since any of the 4 ports may be used, how can TeleFlow be setup for scanning ports looking for one line. Most of the time, once installed, the line will remain in the same port. However, in the event of a problem developing with that port, the connection may be moved to another port requiring TeleFlow to locate the attached phone line.

Can this be done automatically from within TeleFlow without slowing down performance.

Any suggestion would be appreciated...

Will this be for an inbound (telephone answering) or outbound (call placing) system?

TeleFlow doesn't really have any way to "scan" for a phone line. Since there is a very low chance of needing to switch lines for a bad port anyway, I would recommend that you just change the configuration to use a different port if this should ever occur. It only takes a minute, and is probably faster than any other solution.
