Hi

I read a while ago that teleflow may be changed on the way it reads NIC card MAC addresses for licensing purposes when using multiple NIC cards.

At the moment i believe the software reads the primary NIC MAC address and the license needs to tally up.

Was or has a change been made so Teleflow reads MAC addresses of all present NIC Cards and as long as it matches the license is accepted.

The problem we have is, 2 physical NIC Cards each with their own MAC address, we then have a HP teaming adapter which has its own MAC address (this is the one teleflow is licensed on).

The team is configured for fault tolerance so if one network connection goes down the other keeps the server on the LAN.

What happens though is the MAC address changes when their is a failure on either NIC card causing Teleflow to throw the evaluation message.

Is their any patch or workaround to stop teleflow going into evaluation mode?

Thanks

Andrew

That functionality should be available for general release early in 2010. Customers on support plans will be able to receive the update early.

This change has been made, and will be available in the next general release.

This change is generally available now. Anyone interested should download TeleFlow 2010, build # 2009.11.24 (or newer) from http://teleflow.org/download.html.
