Read Registry
Reads a value from the registry.

Properties

Variable to receive value: The variable to create or modify with the value retrieved from the registry.

Key name: The full registry key "path" to seek the registry value in. E.g. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TeleFlow

Value name: The name of the registry value in the specified registry key to read.

Action Steps

Fail: Read Registry failed to read the value from the registry key indicated. This may occur for a number of reasons, but the most likely causes are that the user doesn't have permissions to read the registry key indicated, or that the key or value doesn't exist.
