Date Info Step
Creates or sets a variable to a textual description of an aspect of the date, such as the day of the week. The step offers several options as to the final format of the date name value. The variable can be set to provide the name in full or in the standard 3-letter abbreviation, in addition to regular or all upper case. For example: The Short day name of date '2001/01/22' in regular case is 'Mon'. The Long month name of '2001/01/22' in all upper case is 'JANUARY'. Properties
Variable to receive result: The name of the variable to set or define with the date name. e.g.: @DATENAME
Function: The modifying effect on the 'of date' value. Possible modifying effects:
- Short day name (eg: Mon)
- Long day name (eg: Monday)
- Short month name (eg: Jan)
- Long month name (eg: January)
of date: Variable or literal containing the TeleFlow date value to modify and set/define the 'Result' to/as. (For example: '@DATE')
Return as: The formatting to apply to the date-name. Possible modifying effects:
- Regular case (eg: Monday)
- UPPER CASE (eg: MONDAY)
